Ms. Alice Hamisi

Administrative and Programs Associate

Ms. Alice Hamisi is an Administrative and Programs Associate providing support to the various ACARE programs and Secretariat, ensuring timely delivery of activities of various projects in the daily running of the organization. Alice is a Fisheries and Aquaculture graduate, and has been engaged with the Kenya Fisheries Service and Aquaculture Business Development Programme, working with local fishing communities across the Lake Victoria Region to enhance aquaculture production, reduce poverty, and increase food security and nutrition. She is an aquaculture fellow in the African Food Fellowship, an organization which aims at transforming food systems in Africa. She brings in a wealth of experience in projects planning, management and coordination to ACARE.
