SIAL 9 Registration and Payments Overview
All registration and payments for SIAL 9 will be done through this secure website, hosted by the African Center for Aquatic Research and Education (ACARE).

Please note: on line registration ends July 4. After July 4 you will only be able to register in-person at the conference and only in cash.
​
Registration for the Species In Ancient Lakes (SIAL) 9 meeting covers the costs of conference venue, breakfasts, lunches, one dinner (conference banquet) and coffee breaks during the meeting, plus meeting supplies, and transportation and admissions costs related to the mid-meeting excursion. On line registration deadline July 4 (after that date only in person registration (cash only) will be possible. After this date payment will still be possible but at the late registration rate.

We understand global health conditions could prevent the conference from taking place, or might take place virtually. Should either the conference not take place or become virtual, registration fees will be refunded less 8% administration fees.
